Hydrogen tanks for automotive use

Bachelor thesis deals with hydrogen storage especially for automotive applications. It describes the characteristics of hydrogen, high-pressure hydrogen tanks, hydrogen production by electrolysis and its connection with the possibility of accumulating electricity from renewable sources. Further, hydrogen use in the most advanced cars with fuel cells and their properties. At the end of this thesis I describe my proposal for solving the problem of the construction of hydrogen pumping stations, which are portable tanks.
Hodnocení vybraných pomologických a fenologických znaků v hybridním sadu meruněk

The purpose of this bachelory thesis was to evaluated phenological and pomological characters of apricot hybrids. Observation of phenophases was realized on experimental field Mendel University in Lednice, assessing and measuring of fruit traits was done in a pomological laboratory. The reason for breeding of new hybrids in our conditions is mainly resistance to Plum pox virus and targeted late flowering. Very interesting was the hybrid H. 1103 (tree no. 8), which complied the required parameters. Furthermore, the hybrids, which were smaller in weight, but with good results, were: H. 1102 (tree no. 1, 71) and H 1112 (tree no. 1). In the literary part are included history and expansion, growing in Czech Republic and in the world. Also, are included the details of morfology tree and site conditions, description of influential diseases and pests. There are also description of the varieties, that gave rise to the evaluated hybrids and of couruse, breeding. Formula clause:I hereby declare that, this thesis entitled Evaluation of selected pomological and fenological characters in the field of hybrid apricots was written and completed by me. I also declare that all the sources and information used to complete the thesis are included in the list of references. I recommend postponing the publication of the bachelor / master thesis for a maximum of 3 years. Directive on publishing of the final thesis. I am aware that my thesis is written in accordance to Act. 121/2000 Coll., on Copyright and therefore Mendel University in Brno has the right to conclude licence agreements on the utilization of the thesis as a school work in accordance with Article 60(1) of the Copyright Act. Before concluding a licence agreement on utilization of the work by another person, I will request a written statement from the university that the licence agreement is not in contradiction to legitimate interests of the university, and I will also pay a prospective fee to cover the cost incurred in creating the work to the full amount of such costs.

The use of cereals for energy purposes

The aim of this work is to provide a summary of the utilization of cereals in the field of energy production split by the individual grain groups. The grains are divided into two main groups whereas both can be utilized as a source of biomass. Among the most popular oil plants utilized for energy purposes belong oilseed rape and maize. Both are grown as hybrids which are utilized for energy purposes exclusively. Within the category of hybrids a slow starch deposition can be achieved as well as efficient growth of cellulose, the plant materiál which is important for the combustion. The management of biomass production must také into account the capability of our agriculture and the principles of sustainable utilization of soil and landscape.
